Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Some doctors were found absconded from their duty on many dates in hospital OPD where they were suppose to be present to see patients (More than 150 patients per day). Does it come under criminal offence as many patients were cheated as they paid for consulting the doctor in hospital OPD and they were deprived of getting proper treatment as the senior doctors were absconded repeatedly from duty. The hospital administration is not taking any action against the absconded doctors. Can a criminal case be filed against the doctors i n the local court? If yes, then kindly mention the IPC or CrPc Acts under which the case can be filed.
