Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

R/Sir,
Kindly suggest me how to file a complaint for the registration of First Information Report {F.I.R.} against a person who holds two voter cards with his/her photo identity on two different places since many years. I have documents proving his/her registrations in elector lists at two different places which are at District Ferozepur,Punjab and U.T. Chandigarh. Also, Please send detail of the voilation of related act.

You may inform the District Magistrates of Chandigarh and Ferozepore about the concerned voter.

If it is a cognisable offence, you can approach police directly.
In case of a non-cognisable offence, you need to approach the court.
