dowry articles

wife filed 498a, police took away /sized fridge and other articles without courts order etc when FIR was lodged as wife said it is dowry. Then the court saw proof that it was brought by me using credit card and gave the articles to me in an interim order. Now in cross examanation she say she do sent have proof. what cases can I file against her and others who helped her. Is it criminal tress pass by police and can I put my wife in prison if so minimum for how long. I will get acquitted in 498a as there is no proof. She also said in cross that she threw mangalsutra and denied sex but has filed for divorce on grounds of creuelty how do I take revenge/compensation and give contested divorce.

Revenge? Its better you settle the things amicably and take a divorce OR Please contact a local lawyer.

The act on part of police is not illegal and police had recovered the alleged dowry articles which is case property from your place.However,you may file defamation case both civil & criminal against your wife.You may contest the divorce case.
