Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
The ex employer withheld statutory payments like Gratuity, Coal Mines Provident Fund & Coal Mines Pension since my retirement in Feb. 1999 as because it filed criminal cases in 2002 & 2004 which are still pending. Can it be done before conviction? What remedies are available against this? I was made co-accused; the main accused died recently and the extra money paid has been recovered from his last medical bill.

The action of your Ex. employer appears to be prima facie illegal. Please submit full particulars and papers like service rules, chargesheet given to you, reply submitted by you, copies of papers relating to criminal case etc etc so that proper opinion can be given. Proffessional charges will apply.
