you may apply for separate trial in trial court and if that does'nt work approach higher courts for expediation order.

Yes, there is a procedure for keeping the case in abyeance qua the accused who is not attending the court if that accused has been declared a 'proclaimed offender'.

First he has to request before the trial court to separate the case against him only and proceed for trial. If he dont gets positive order then he can move to the higher courts.
