Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Hi Expert,

My father is in JC in a case since last 9 months. He wants that he should be present in the Delhi High Court during his case hearing.

1.) Is there any law,any rule of CRPC which says that the person in JC can be present in court? If yes then what are the procedures.

2.) Can he also argue on his case in High Court as well?

Your father has to move an application in the High court to argue his matter which obviously the high court would allow and once allowed he would be present in his all proceedings .

A person can argu his own case. Let him send an application to the high court with appropriate prayer and the high court would issue necessary summons to police to produce him in the court.
