false allegation in ragging
four of my friends had to suffer false allegations by a girl who due to personal reasons .,.,with the help of her parents ,.,., filed an application for an FIR against them in the anti ragging law,., lied in front of the chairman of the university saying that they consume drugs,.,supply drugs within the univ..,., tortered her physically a couple of times,... while that had happened just once and at a very small level ,..,they were about to be rusticated.,. they have been forced to give in writing that they will be kicked out if they do the tiniest of things,., all four of them are suffering a lot .,,. no body is listening to them .,. even the authorities have accepted the lies,.,what can be done to prove that they are right and she was wrong????

An apology should be tendered to the girl and to the institution and resolve not to commit this kind of mistake again in life.

"while that had happened just once and at a very small level" - what is small level for you may be very big and serious for someone else creating a permanent scar in one's mind. BE CAREFUL. YOU COULD LAND UP IN JAIL.

AN offence is an offence be it small or big. Since, your friends have done such act they are bound to be punished. Though, you can plead the authorities to reduce the quantum of punishment by tendering apology.
