The fast track courts virtually function the same way like normal courts; except they have been sanctioned by Government of India in addition to the normal courts for reducing work load specially to deal with old cases.

Additional Courts appointed on ad-hoc basis are called fast track court.

These courts work like any other courts.

a fast track court works under time constraints and are to dispose off a matter within that time frame. the trial doesnt linger on for long as in case of normal courts.
