can I file a domestic violence case and maintenance case in india. we both are seprated and living abroad.but my inlaws are in india . I m unemployed and studying, because of my studies I can't be able to attend court hearings in india .I want to know that my presence is important in india during court trials pls reply

yes you have to be present for filing and at hearing. for remaining you can ask for exemption from personal attendance by applying to the court
