Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
i filed a cheque bounce case against my friend under section 138 of NI Act R/w section 200 of CRPC , The said case is set out for evidence, now i came to know that the cheque issued by my friend is belonged to someone else, but my friend signed on that and gave it to me, can i convert / invoke section 420 of IPC in the same case

yes, you can ask your lawyer to move an appropriate application for adding the offence but u need to lead evidence to that effect afresh.
