You will be called upon to furnish bail and case will proceed further.

Re: filed for sec. 138

plz send us your detail like when you issue the cheque etc. whether you receive any legal notice etc. You have to file reply in the court and in some situation, you would have to get A.Bail/R.Bail also. Fee structure in new delhi is from 10000 to 22000. But in your case they may be charge less. I will suggest you, may go directly in the court an deposit the amount in the court and your case will be disposed off in one date without any advocate, else you have to spend a huge amount and a your amount is very meager.

Re: filed for sec. 138

The litigation may be very costly and time consuming. You may better consider an amicable out of court settlement with the Bank since only a small amount is involved. The lawyer's fee may be more than the total amount involved.

You need to be present with a surety i.e you need to give bail.

We suggest you to approach a lawyer in New Delhi. The laweyers have different fee structure depending on their seniority.
