Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

A FIR for 498a, 406 has been filed in a state( lets say-Z) where the police has submitted Report-B without proper investigation though there is quite strong evidences for the case. I am staying in different state( lets say-P). Now my questions are.....

Q)Can I file Protest petition in her own state-P against the Report-B of the police of state-Z

or

Q)Do I have to file a new FIR for reinvestigation from my present state-P for the proceeding of the case. (Note: a GD was already filed in my state-P)

Thanks.

1. Protest petition may be filed in a court where report is submitted.

2. Second FIR may not be maintainable.
