Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
someone forged my fathers signature on a document of transfer of property.
my father's dead now.
and he is refusing to reveal that document by saying it is misplaced and unable to find it but has photocopies of it.
can document examination be done through those Photostat copies with my father passport,driving licence etc.

no, photocopies of a document is no proof unless it is a certified copy or the court goes through the originals and compares the photocopies.
