Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
My friend got a SMS with filthy words. After that he got some letters from unknown person with same type of filthy words. My friend gave his mobile set to the service provider for repairing purpose and unfortunately it was found that SMS was deleted. My friend recalled the content of the SMS and date of that SMS he got as well the no. from which he got the SMS. My question is whether my friend can get the details of the SMS from the respected service provider and can take some steps against the identified SMS sender.
