Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
My friend's wife married a man first. Then she got a null and void certificate in court from her first husband. After that, she married my friend and she hides her first marriage from my friend. She filed false dowry harassment and domestic violence cases also against my friend and his family.
My friend filed a divorce case before the false cases were given by his wife. Now my friend filed a police case against her and her family to suppress the first marriage to him and his family. These all cases are going on in court.
She has filed a maintenance and inter maintenance cases against my friend. Is it possible to get maintenance from my friend?

Yes ,the wife is entitled to get maintenance from her husband.
She can apply for maintenance. However, whether same is to be given or not and at what rate etc. would depend on several factors, which can be discussed by your friend with his lawyer.
