Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
hai sir,
my cheque got bounced because his indivisual current account in the name of M/S KMR CONSTRUCTIONS was closed and the cheque which was issued to me with only (4) numbers
instead of (15) numbers.is there any way i can take legal or criminal action against him.

from the banlk you can have fifteen digit number and if the account is closed than also the complaint under section 138 NI Act is maintainable for the old number also and call the bank as witness for proving the account opening.

it does not matter whether the account number mentioned is 15 digits or four digits. the criminal complaint will be maintainable. You may first give notice
