Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Hello,
I have filed maintenance under sec 125.My husband is not paying maintenance.So i have filed for execution.distress warrant has been issued against him.Magistrate has ordered ministry of external affairs to execute the order as my husband is working in US on h1 visa.But 3 months has passed but there is no feed back from ministry of external affais about the staus of my case.My husband's lawyer is attending every hearing of execution but inspite of that is not paying maintenace inspite of distress warrant..Can i file petition for impound of his passport in court as he is willfully not paying maintenance even after distress warrant ?

why dont u file for issuing arrest warrants against him, and ask the embassy to send him back to india
