Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Hi,
I want to know what action can I take against my ex-wife who has been sending nasty mails and messages to me over the last one year. This all started around 1 year back after my second marriage. Also, she has been sending extremely objectionable messages using derogatory remarks against my wife who has never contacted my ex-wife in any way. My ex-wife is mentally unstable and I have medical reports proving that.
I have been suggested by one of the friends to file a complaint under Mental Health Act. Under which section of MHA this kind of crime falls?
Can my wife file a complaint against my ex-wife under IPC section 504 or 509?
What is the punishment usually given in such kind of cases?
