I am hindu girl got married under HMA.I want to get my shreedhan back.So i want to lodge complain under 406 ipc to get shreedhan back.Should i lodge complain under 406 in local police station or in women cell?

u can lodge a complaint in women cell close to your place of residence and in case you want your stridhan without much of delay, you may choose to file a complaint under domestic violence act and ask for your stridhan and related reliefs.

Mr.Gupta is right. Both the options are with you.

If u will file before police then they will register FIR and arrest ur husband if he will not return your istridhan and if u will complaint to the women cell then they will call ur husband and ask her to return the istridhan or made the patchup with you and live as husband and wife.
