if you think that any arrest made by the police officials is illegal and there is no cause to arrest any one in such a circumstaces then you have option to knock the writ jurisdiction .Art.22 of the constitution of india guarantees the right of citizens.this is the article by which endevors has been made to provide proper justice to the citizens and also provides safeguards to the citizens from the police attrocites. the action

should be taken in a circumstances like this that is a writ in the nature of "Habeos-corpos" be prefered u/art.227 of the constitution of india before High court of local jurisdiction where the cause of action has been arised
