upon tendering of amount of cheque, the case can be compounded whether the cheque bounced due to insufficiency of funds or stop payment.

if u make the payment stop then there should be some reason and if court will found that reason sufficient then you dont have to pay anything.

Like if they breach any contact and you stop the payment then court will never say you to pay anything.
