Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

I am from India.I am 21 years old (unmarried).I was in a relationship with a guy (23 years old and unamrried) that i thought i loved and we were physically involved for a while but after that problems started in our relationship..he was always spying on me,controlling me..so i broke off the relationship with him.We both are unmarried at that time..
According to Indian penal code..is it illegal to have sex with a boyfriend if both girl and boy are unmarried?
Can he harm me legally by saying that this girl had physical relation with me and now she broke it off and is marrying another guy??
Please help me..i am really scared...

no....sex between two consenting unmarried adults is no crime. he cannot involve you in any legal battle. in case he is stalking or spying on you, your lawyer would take care of that...............relax...u did no wrong .

Consensus sex between two unmarried adults is not an offence. It is also not illegal. However, depending on social atmosphere, it may be regarded immoral.
