i think the same question has already been put by the gentleman/husband. Be as that it may, please note that any time a husband files a petition for divorce on the grounds of adultery, he has to make the person alleged to have adulterated with wife, a respondent in the divorce petition. it is a requirement. Now it would depend upon your husband as to what does he want. Your husband will not have any problem arising out of these facts. the confessed statement will also have no bearing unless your husband now supports the statement in the court that your husband had physical relationship with his wife. Your husband may represent through an advocate and need not come personally until it is a must. His physical presence will only be required when the matter reaches the stage of evidence. At this stage, your husband need to appoint a lawyer who will represent him before the court and file a written reply on behalf of your husband to the petition of divorce.

If he had robbed your husband of his passport, your husband should have filed a criminal complaint against that person.
