Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
The Inlaws of my daughter filed fake murder/threatening cases. Now the husband alongwith some of his relatives made compromise out of court with my daughter and taken divorce through Court.
However, said husband has not yet withdrawn the fake cases against brothers & father of girl despite written submission in compromise.
Can father and brother of girl file the defamation suit against husband & his family? For your information, neither father nor brother have signed in that compromise. Even brother, mother of husband has not signed the said compromise.
