Re: Inquiry
There are two kinds of Law Degrees:
1. Acadmic 2. Professional
Acadmic degrees are obtained through corespondence, through various universities, but getting degrees do not entitle you for enrolment with Bar Council.
Professional Degrees are 3 years or 5 years and are given by various universities including evening courses. Therefore you can enroll yourself in one of evening course at Calcutta and take your education.
After you complete your degree, in order to enroll with Bar Council you will have to leave your job and take law as full time career.
Choice of field depends upon areas of practice, as far as degree is concerned, you will have options to chose among papers, which you can chose as per your interest.
Rest depends upon how u practice.
