issue of N.b.W
Case is posted on 1st june for framing charges unfotunately ihave to go to chennai at that time in connection with my daughters visa to u.s.a she is leaving to u.s.a on 12th with her husband can i move a petion through my lawyer citing these to condone my absence i can give an undertaking also that i will appear at the court any time the court fixes after 15th will the court issue warrant against meon 1st for my absence?any judgement to show that non appearance on asingle day will not attract n.b.w?

You can file an applicatin for exempton for non appearance for one day alongwith relevant documents. Court wil exempt you but your counsel should present in the court to submit the same application. you may take long time also.

You should contact your lawyer who is conducting the case.

yes you can apply for exemption from personal appearance.the court will not issue NBW if you take the above step.

The court will not issue any NBW if your lawyer represents and explain about your absence. Further, ensure that an application for exemption is filed on June 1

There appears no problems for grant adjournment for a single date, if you regularly attended the court before.
In any case, if you intent to plead not guilty to the charges, you can instruct and authorize your lawyer to answer charges on your behalf.
