Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
I had issued chq. for the worth of 3lac rupees to a person. Due to some hectic financial problems, i left my place and living in some other town where the said person doesn't know my where abouts. My question is that, if that person served me notice and which i didn't recd. that notice, what will be the next step for him to go legally?

in case the notice is served at your last known address, the person may seek orders of declaring you a proclaimed offender and your assets may also be attached.
in that case if the report of notice that the person is not residing in that locality than the other site can make the news paper proclamation in the last area were was u reside and after that if u nor appear before the court than court will issue warrant against u
