cross examining a witness is the duty of the lawyer and not the judge. the judge can only put queries under the relevant section of Indian Evidence Act.

cross examining a witness is the duty of the lawyer and not the judge. the judge can only put queries under the relevant section of Indian Evidence Act. section 165 of Indian Evidence Act to be precise.
