Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

A judicial officer residing in a private house allotted to him by Government. The house owner is residing abroad. For receiving the rent of the building resided by the judicial officer, the landlord orally permitted him to put his signature for completing the office formalities for receiving the rent . The act of the judicial officer putting the signature of his landlord , whether legal or illegal.

without a legal authority or attorney, it is illegal but if the judge is authorized to do so in writing, it is legal.

Your facts are contradictory. If the house is allotted to him by the Government, there is no illegality involved.
