Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
One of the lady had lodged private complaint under ipc 354 509 in court court directed policeunder 156\3 . police sent report w\o any charge to the court. a All the witnesses ware in favour of accused. Complainant did not appear in court neither advocate for first2 years .3 years have been lapsed .why court isnot dismissing the case/.

you may approach the high court for quashing of the complaint.

it is not a simple offence, court has to give chance to complainant to hear on such matter.
