Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
loss of signed blank cheques
I had left my purse in my parents home in mysore which had five blank cheques signed by me, hotel lease agreement and Rs.1500, while leaving to hyderabad with my husband after my marriage.
Recently when I was looking for my hotel lease agreement, I couldnt find my purse. I had left my signed blank cheques and hotel lease agreement here in my parents home at mysore because my father wanted to improve my hotel building.
I lodged a complaint in the Police Station and got the acknowledgement. I also have sent a letter to The bank for Stop payment of my lost cheques. I have also given the advertisement in the newspaper allover Karnataka. But Im not getting any response.
Can you please advise me what are legal steps i can take to avoid any misuse of my lost five signed blank cheques.
