Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
For a lost signed empty cheque i informed bank and also police and got FIR. Is there any other precaution to be taken for this issue?

approach the bank along with the copy of FIR and let the payment be stopped on the cheques on the ground of registration of FIR.

In addition to suggestion of Adv Gupta, you may also consider issuing an appropriate Public Notice about lost cheques.
