Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
i m and my family trialed under section 304B and we all acquitted by trial court. but now my father in law blackmailing me to implicated me in 406 ipc. my question is this he has rights to claim all gifts given at the time of marriage and he can file case under 406 ipc and also what should be taken as evidence in case of 406 ipc pls reply me as soon as possible.

When the fir u/s 304b was lodged, were you not charged u/s 406 as well. How can he file 406 now? U may send order of acquittal and the second fir for a better opinion.

No, your wife can only claim gifts given to her including stridhan. Your wife / FIL can't claim gifts given by them to you and your family members.
