Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

I got married recently. my ex girlfirend has lodged a complaint against me saying that I have cheated her against marriage. she also accepted in the police station that there is no physical contact.But she has some photographs in which we both were togather holding each other and also some of my personal dairies in which i have written about our love.we broke up because she and her family was harrasing me for money. Also before my marriage she had threatened me many times that she will commit suicide, lodge a case in police station, but i ignored her. just before the day of my marriage she has lodged a complaint against me.in the complaint she has mentioned that i promised to marry her. Police have filed FIR u/s 417. Now the police have called me and told that arrest warrant has been issued. I got an INTERIM stay from high court. please tell me how to proceed further. none of the lawyers are giving correct information.

How do you say that lawyers are not giving you correct information ?

Did you obtain an interim stay order from the High Court without a lawyer ? If yes, you do not need any legal advice. If no, you should follow advice of the same lawyer who conducted your case in the High Court.

There is no cause of frustration or worry. You will be fine.

If you have preferred an quashing petition in the high court and got interim stay on arrest, then you are proceeding in right direction.
