Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Murder happened 25 yrs back and I do not have proof to make a Police complaint.
My second elder brother threatened me to kill. When he was threatening me, he said I will kill like I had killed the First elder brother 25 yrs back. That time my elder brother was around 18 yrs and my second brother was 14.
At that time I was 8 yrs old and I was told that the First elder brother ran away from home.
Can I lodge a police complaint now, But I do not have any proof whether it was a murder or not.
If I make a complaint whether a FIR will be registered for this.

If you have information about commission of serious offence like murder, you have to report the same to police at the earliest. Collection of evidence is work of police.
