Re: murder

You can approach superior police officers. You can also institute private complaint in the court of concerned magistrate and get directions of investigation. You can also invoke writ jurisdiction of the High Court. You can also approach Human Rights Commission.

Re: murder

first of all check whether there is a FIR or not which i think that it would have been registered.

if police dont register it or has not registered, complain to DCP and CP through phone and written complaint and you can file an application under section 156 (3) CrPC to the concerned magistrate for registration of FIR and investigation.

but be sure that u are not framing the inlaws and it can be sucide too. please dont frame anybody if its a suicide. and if its murder u can call me for further help.

Re: murder

The first concern would be to see if you or any one on behalf of your sister did file a complaint with the police making the allegation of murder by the inlaws. did the police register a FIR. If FIR was registered, then if the police is filing a no offence case, then you may file your protest before the magistrate and request for further investigation. If FIR has not been registered then you file a complaint before the Magistrate with a request for direction to the SHO to register FIR or a complaint with evidence to summon the inlaws.
