Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

I am named in a divorce case by a wife. She says I have been having an affair with her husband. It's just that we are connected through profession. Yes, we are friends for 12 years. And I have been seeking professional help in software engineering every now and then. I didn't know anything about this. She has mentioned my name in the complain in crime against women cell. Where in she has given her husband's phone bills (at least that's what I got to know). Now she contacted my husband and is creating trouble between the two of us. And she keeps telling my husband to divorce me too. What should I do?

It is an unfortunate situation wherein the professional association is being misread and mislead into conflict between two families. You have to make your husband understand you in such a situation and not lend his ears to the wife of your collegue. In fact, you along with your husband contest their divorce petition and clear the air through out so that two marriages could be saved.

telephone bills can not prove any thing. marriage is based on trust. you convince your husband by stating all true facts. take him in confidence and than give your reply by appearing in all matters.
