Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
i have a nbw on IPC 138 act I have settled the Amount mutually with the general manager of the Co.I have already scanned the dd and mailed to the co.Now the date on the nbw is 25/4/2011.I wish to take the dd along with me personally to the manager and he has promised me to withdraw the case and he is ready to give me any letter of settlement.Just to be on the safer side i wish to carry a letter which can hold water in any future

If warrant is pending you have to recall the warrant.

you may offer to pay the DD before the court and let him withdraw the complaint. it is better if your lawyer does this job for you. you may not need a formal letter but an application for compounding of offence may be handy.
