Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

newspaper publication

My wife in collusion with a newspaper editor got an article published on front page of paper along with photos of both. i have 498A pending on me. Now she and reporter say i was responsible for the publication by giving fir copies and photos. i am denying the same. Wife filed IPC500 & 501 on me and Indecent representation of woman on me and editor.

I also filed ipc499,500,501 on wife and editor.

The article has no defamation on my wife except comments from others after publication.

What are the charges I may have to face if proved i only gave the photos and FIR copies to the editor.

The article has statements of me and FIL. My FIl calls me a psychopath and says I am useless in the article. I say I want my wife back but she filed 498A.

Will I face conviction due to paper publication. I am really unaware how it got printed in first page og bangalore-mirror paper.

Regards

Chandrashekar

Re: newspaper publication

You may make efforts for an amicable out of court settlement of dispute with your wife; this case will also be diffused if you reach a compromise.
