An offence committed in one place.f.i.r and charge sheet shows same place.but charge framed by the authorities wrongly mentioned another place.and covicted .is it correct or not?

The accused may file an appeal citing 'non application of mind' of trial court as one of the grounds.

Read the judgment with evidence led completely. Some error may not be sufficient to set aside conviction, unless that is material and prejudice the defence of accused.

jurisdiction of a court is very important in order to conduct a fair trial. incase the judgment was passed beyond jurisdiction, it would be a good ground for setting aside the conviction in appeal.
