Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
An offence committed in one place.f.i.r and charge sheet shows same place.but charge framed by the authorities wrongly mentioned another place.and covicted .is it correct or not?

jurisdiction of a court is very important in order to conduct a fair trial. incase the judgment was passed beyond jurisdiction, it would be a good ground for setting aside the conviction in appeal.
