what if a part payment is made by a company and the rest is due, how to recover it.

in case of a company, you have two options. File a simple suit for recovery. Otherwise, you may give a statutory notice for winding up and then if the company does not pay the balance go for winding up of the company.

You can file a suit for recovery of outstanding amount under general law. In case, these dues are admitted due of the company i.e. reflected in the balance sheet of the company, you can also file a petition for winding up of defaulting company as per the provisions of the Companies Act by giving statutory notice to that effect.
