Legal Question in Criminal Law in

a person is falsely charged of embezzlement and an FIR is made in a police station. Does this person need to get a bail, and whether a case can be settled out of court once an FIR has been lodged

YA offence like embezzlement are mostly non bailable & non compoundable, he here u haven't mention which offences are booked , in all situation this person shall have to take bail first.

better seek a bail and then you may settle the matter. in case the complainant ready to settle it now and if the f.i.r is u/s 420, it can be compounded.
