Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
If a person can and is generally found to be signing in English i.e. write his name as signature, including PAN card etc (which was found out later) and if he signs an Affidavit or any legal document in vernacular language (Tamil) i.e. again write his name in vernacular in the space meant for signature. Whether the vernacular signature could be construed to be a valid one.
Apart from your expert answer, any reference to a case law or judgement, any reference etc in Acts like General Clause Act, would be very helpful.

there is no legal bar in signing in vernacular. for judgments, hire a lawyer.
