Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
A person has issued a cheque and sent it to deposit in my account by third person . I have got the xerox of the cheque. later he has taken back the cheque from the bank before producing it . Can I take legal action ?

No as you dont have the original cheque with you.

If the cheque was discharge of a valid debt, you may file a suit for recovery.
