personal loan taken from icici bank
I've taken a personal loan from icici bank for 4 years @3084/month on july 2007 through auto debit.i failed to maintain bal for 6 months after that I cleared dues on last january by cash.loan has been uptodated till today.on 05/06/09 i received a letter from court under ipc138.plz mention my future steps.am i an accused person?can i report a case against the bank?summoned on 05/09/09

Yes, you can file a case of cheating against the bank. Further, in your defence for section 138, you can produce all the payment receipts and other documents you have to prove that the account is regularised.

Have a word with bank officials. If the process was started by Bank before your cleared your loan, the Bank would withdraw the case.
Ensure to get back all your cheques with the Bank with a certificate that nothing is due and payable by you to bank and bank has not initiated any other proceedings against you.

You may contact the bank and demand the previous cheques against which you had deposited cash. The bank may also be persuaded to withdraw the cheque bouncing case.
