Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
I have a plot in badarpur . My neighbour of badarpur plot become dishonest. Through a common friend I know that my neighbour sold my plot to a buyer by preparing forge documents
(GPA which is not registered )
Recieveng such information I filed a complaint in police then court regarding these cheating but my neighbour is threatining me to withdrawal of my case.
Now plot in is my position and I receaved a copy of gpa from purchaser and attached with complaint.
My neighbour slapped me in public during compromise meeting because of I want to drag my case till conviction of my neighbour.
But common friend is not agree for evidence , he is not leading evidence in my case and he is neutral . But I mentioned in my evidence that I know about forgery through common friend. If I did not prove this chain link (common friend ) and no contradiction will find out in cross examination and cfsl report will that signatures are forged then at above situations Can I prove and convict to my neighbour with the help of myself evidence and evidence of cfsl expert ?

common friend at the most would have proved the source of your knowledge. so if friend is not there, the chain may still be not broken for the purpose of conviction of neighbour. Your evidence and cfsl report will be more than enough to constitute cheating
