Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

The police has confiscated my original agreement and Power of Attorney through the court and yet not given a certified copy of the same papers. How do i get it from them. I was also arrested for the offence of forgery which i didnot commit. The suit is pending in the criminal court how can i go about it

The police must have given you a panchnama or Fard Makboozgi for the documents having received from them. Once the investigation is complete, the police will file the charge sheet. It is at this stage you will apply for the certified copy to get the documents. The original in criminal case will remain with the court until the trial is over unless these documents are irrelevant for the trial. It is not clear how a suit is pending in criminal court. Suits are only in Civil court.
