Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

How should we proceed with bail and other judicial proceedings for three people currently under judicial custody under framed charges of IPC section 307, 324, 323 and 34?

Brief Background

Three accused, who are responsible staff members, tried to intervene in a altercation between two communities of people on 1 April 2010. In the process, they were hit, hurled with bricks, and one of them was also cut with a sharp-edged weapon on his hand. They tried to defend themselves and finally managed to escape. In the scuffle, one member from the opposite party was also slightly injured. However, they lodge an FIR on the above charges and the three accused were taken into police custody and kept there for three days. At the first judicial hearing on 5 April, they were sent to judicial custody for 14 days and on their second hearing on 16 April, their judicial custody is further extended by 14 days. It is reported that injuries inflicted on one of the accused was much more deeper.

You can immediately file the bail application. I need to see your copy of FIR.

Bail may be granted but can be assured after checking copy of FIR.

So send us FIR and tell us your location or consult any local lawyer.
