Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Is it the right process to return stridhan/dowry items to wife through woman cell on her demand? She has mentioned fake jewellaries also in the list? There is no mention of her decision whether she wants to return or take divorce in the file of I.O. in woman cell. At what stage should I submit her stridhan/dowry items?

it is better if you seek anticipatory bail and in case the court puts a condition before you that the bail would be granted upon return of stridhan, you may, without admitting the fake jewelry and stridhan, submit it before the court only in return of your bail.
The 'istridhan' should be returned AT THE EARLIEST opportunity unconditionally and without waiting for any court order. Besides, you should also make a generous offer of maintenance / financial support on regular basis.
Better you try for an amicable out of court settlement and avoid litigation.
